Welcome Arabella Kiersten Nickell

Miss Arabella Kiersten joined our family in January 19, 2010 at 4:48 a.m. She was 7 lbs, 3 oz. and was 19 3/4 inches. The has been the most magical moment of my life. Words cannot describe it. We are so very blessed to have her in our lives!

God's fingerprints were all over her birth. She arrived just in time for her sisters and Nanny to meet her before they had to head back to Columbus, OH. Chris was able to pick them up and have them spend a little time with our new addition. Nanny is so excited to have another great-grandchild and the girls couldn't be happier to be big sisters again. They have been getting quite a bit of practice having two other sisters at their mom's house.
Arabella couldn't have asked for better and more loving big sisters than she has.
These are the moments to treasure. I just love when she sleeps on my chest. If only I could do other things like shower, clean, laundry while she sleeps there.
Here's the proud grandma! It's been wonderful having her here with us. She is spoiling Arabella like crazy, but I think that's her job. I don't know what she'll do after she's back in WV. She likes to hold this beautiful baby girl all day. Arabella is getting quite used to this!
Many long hours at the hospital. I'm glad that Arabella and her Daddy could get some much used sleep. Aren't they cute?

The Nickell Family and our newest addition are ready to go home. We can't wait to settle in with her. Her nursery has been ready for weeks. All we needed was her!

Carissa made this adorable little blanket for Arabella. She brought it with her. It's just the perfect size for her car seat. Carissa is so loving and thoughtful!
Home at last!
Amy and Carson, two girlfriends from work, got her this adorable turtle spa set. It has some room for her to grow. I just couldn't pass up putting her in it after her first sponge bath. Check out the little slippers!
Grandma Carol loves babysitting. So while she is here, we are taking her up on watching our little sweet pea. Daddy and I were able to get out for some dinner. Of course we were checking in on her all the time. What happened to the days of going out for hours?
This little package arrived from our good friends, The DiRamio's. I loved that she just sat still with her cookies. I think we'll help her eat them. They look wonderful!

She's so tiny the many of the newborn clothes are still pretty big. I have to say, I think they look adorable on her. She's all accessorized with her hat and bunny slippers.

Grandma was trying for a while to capture this smile.

This is the day of her two-week check-up. Everyone loved her boots. It's hard to believe that they make them so small!
This little white outfit was mine that my mom had held on to. It's so cute on her. I'm glad that grandma held onto this. It's very special to have.

We all need a little rest and relaxation from time to time.
