Carissa, Caitlyn & Nanny's Visit

Carissa, Caitlyn & Nanny arrived safely in Denver on January 13, 2010 for their week long visit. The first thing we had to do was to celebrate a late Christmas here. Santa even made it to Denver! I don't think the magic of Christmas ever gets old, no matter how old we get or how late after the holiday that we celebrate it!
We wanted to show Nanny the Nature and Science Museum. Of course we had to get out pictures taken with most of the animals.
I'm ready to pop. We also tried to walk the baby out. It didn't work. Oh well, it was worth a try!

We also took Nanny downtown to the 16th Street Mall. It was in the 50s. Just a perfect day to walk around Denver and take in the sites.

Could we get any cuter? I can't hear you...
I can't either. What's up with that?
The girls couldn't wait to get Sadie to the park. They miss her so much and Sadie sure misses her girls. I don't know who had more fun.

So adorable running Sadie.

The girls, Nanny and Grandma Carol played some Wii bowling. Caitlyn was the winner. She plays some mad bowling. She'll take you on, and I have a feeling that she'll win!
Daddy wanted to play football. It was super cute watching them all try to play. Daddy even came up with game plans for the girls. I doubt that football will be their sport of choice.
Carissa and Caitlyn made onsies for Arabella too. We did this at my baby shower here in Denver. Such a cute idea!
Family heading out to dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant here. Had I know that this would be my lat real meal for a while, I would have eaten so much more!
Grandma Carol tried so hard to keep her eyes open. I wish I could somehow draw them into the picture. I haven't figured that out just yet.
We all made a trip to Steamboat Springs. Chris wanted to take the girls snow mobiling. It was a long trip, but so worth it. They loved it! They went on a two hour ride covering six miles of Colorado mountains. The sites looked beautiful. Nanny, mom and I spend the day in the quaint little town of Steamboat Springs.

The views were breathtaking.

It's hard to believe, but we still squeezed in some R&R at home. These are the moments we miss the most.
More of us at the 16th Street Mall. You know me and photo opportunities!

Dinner out with the family. The girls are just looking so grown up. They are just beautiful!

We are so thankful that they were able to visit. It's a blessing that they could also be here for the birth of their new sister and great-granddaughter, Arabella!
