We have heard fabulous things about Sedona, AZ.  We couldn't wait to go.  A weekend finally freed itself up last week, so we took a day trip to Sedona.  It is all people talk about and more.  It reminded us of Red Rocks and The Garden of the Gods in Colorado, just breathtaking.  We are not quite sure what Arabella thought of it all.  We do know for sure that she loved her ice cream! 

Arabella is now 8 Months Old!

Time has been flying by.  I mean people say that it will, but it really does!  Arabella is already 8 months old!  I can't believe it.  It is still hotter than all get out, so we pretty much spend our days indoors.  Chris will come home and ask me what I've done all day.  The answer is typically the same, hung out with Arabella.  I chase her around ALL day!  She crawls so fast.  I have to keep my eyes on her at all times.  She has been standing on her own for a little while now.  She's starting to pick up her legs to move them, I'm just not sure that she has any idea of what to do next.  She's so funny!

We found out a couple of weeks ago that we had a little beaver on our hands.  She has been chewing on the sides of her crib.  So, our new package came yesterday - cloth side guard rails to cover her crib!  They look great!  Now, let's just pray that she doesn't start to chew on the slats or the front and back of the crib.  I have also caught her starting to gnaw on the coffee table and the banister.  At least I have heard that many kids do this, so I don't feel like we are the only ones!

The weather is still unbearable here.  It's still in the 100s and we have hit a couple of record breaking days here in September.  We are really looking forward to a little cool down to be able to get in some nightly walks with the dog.  Sadie has allergies here.  Who knew?!?!  This poor dog has been through so much.  But, she is getting a little friendlier with Arabella - that's a good thing!

Look at her little shoes!  This is her first pair of pedipeds.  They are still a little big, but way cute!

Arabella will not sit in her jumper anymore.  At least she will play with it on the outside!

She chews on this end table.  She loves this one because the record player is on top!
