Bronco's Game

Chris and I were lucky enough to fall into a couple of tickets for the football game. It was my first NFL experience. It was wild and a lot of fun! The setting is beautiful for the mile high stadium. Our seats were a whole lot higher, as you can probably tell in a few of our pictures. It was a warm and sunny day. Perfect football weather.

Sunday, we went to the Denver Bronco/Miami Dolphins NFL Game.

The fighter planes were really neat. They don't fly for every game.

Chris and I in the stadium along with 74,000 other screaming fans. It was wild!

Day Downtown

We decided to check out some new things today. We've been in Denver for one month now. So we started with the transportation system - the light rail. It's really great! We just got on a couple of miles from our home and took it into Downtown Denver. We're not professionals just yet, but we're getting there. There's a great shopping area - so that's where we went first. Downtown is really clean and artistic. Some fabulous restaurants and shopping. We cannot wait to go back. Here is a little of our day!

Downtown Denver is really urban.
Amy and the buses. It's a very bus and tram friendly town.
What to love about Denver? Chris loved this cow!
Writer's Square.
Chris cannot resist a photo op with the cigar shop Indian.
Invesco Field.
The trees here are beautiful this time of year!
We just liked this building.
Cool art!
Union Station Bus Station.

Hard to believe its almost 80 degrees outside and it's November!

Halloween 2008

I love Halloween. It's a great day to fill the house with candy and have every reason to eat it all! We started this morning dressing up Maggie. There's not a chance that the other two would let me dress them up. She cooperated just enough for the photo op and that was it. Sadie on the hand, had no idea what was in store for her! Sadie got all dressed up like a princess to pass out candy to our neighborhood full of kids. It only took one trick-or-treater for her to make her escape. She ran right out into the yard when I opened the door and got her outfit off. Oh well, at least she looked cute for a while!

Maggie in her Hocus Pocus t-shirt.

This was in the morning. I think Sadie was already on to us.
Sadie all dress up like a princess. She needs a prince.

Summer Vacation

Night at the Boardwalk.
Caitlyn & Carissa hamming it up at the pool.
Look at her fly!
So proud at my hole in 1!
Clear beach at sunrise. They wanted to find seashells so badly!
All tuckered out after a day at the beach.

Chris & I awaiting the storm at put-put golf.

What's new?

Boy how time flies! We really want to try to be consistant with updates to our family blog. So much has happened these past few months. God has blessed us and brought us to the beautiful city of Denver. We have just moved in, so pictures of the house are on its way. For now, here are some family updates over the past few months. We hope you enjoy!

Blizzard of 2008

Who would have ever guessed that we would get this much snow! It was a little scary being out in it, but beautiful to watch from the inside. Sadie girl especially loved it! I may have been her happiest day ever!
